Raphaël is a hands-on technical leader with 19+ years of experience designing complex software systems at the intersection of research and business. He developed a widely adopted framework for model-driven software engineering, and later co-founded a deep-tech startup that raised $2 million in venture capital to commercialise patented telecommunications hardware and software. He leads Twine’s most technically demanding work, including research, systems architecture design, and implementation strategy – with a focus on real-world constraints, usability, and long-term maintainability. Raphaël holds a Ph.D. inComputer Science from McGill University.
